The event took place in the town of San Gennaro in Capannori (LU) with the participation of approximately 40 stakeholders of the Green/ Circular Economy sector. The event started on the 16th when project partners and stakeholders were involved into two field visits to best practices examples of Circular Economy in Capannori, the first involved harvesting local olives in a local olive grove and discovering local oil supply chain in a local olive oil processing plant, the second took place in the Zero Waste Research Center at Parco Scientico of Comune di Capannori, where participants visited, guided by researchers, the scientific labs of the Center where eco-materials are tested and developed. The second day was dedicated to a networking event with the project eLabHauSE.rur (SMP-COSME-2021-RESILIENCE- Social Economy and local green deals supporting SMEs to become more resilient). During the first half of the morning, Circular.rur partners and stakeholders attended the presentation of the eLabHauSE.rur project and the presentation of the Best Practice of Capannori: Zero Waste, by Mr Rossano Ercolini. The Zero waste association has the primary aim of connecting the Italian Zero Waste initiatives with the European and global networks of this project-movement. During the second half of the morning, eLabHauSE.rur partners and Stakeholders attended the presentation of the Circular.rur project. After the welcome words and brief presentation of the deputy Major of Capannori, Matteo Francesconi, the Project Coordinator presented all the project partners and their role in the project. Afterwards participants attended the presentation of the Circular Economy Best Practice of Capannori: La Piana del Cibo, an initiative for the coordinated and participatory management of food policies among the Municipalities of: Lucca, Capannori, Altopascio, Porcari and Villa Basilica. Finally, in the afternoon of November 17th, Circular.rur partners and stakeholders participated in the eLabHauSE.rur Green Social Economy Mission World Cafè aimed at presenting and analyzing Green Economy Best Practices to generate ideas, agreements and creative and innovative paths of action. |
